Agresta, Jacqueline, Ph.D. - Dr.
Agresta is an experienced school social worker who has worked for
Long Beach School District and Bellmore-Merrick School District.
She has professional affiliations with National Association of Social
Workers and School Social Work Association of America.
Begley, Lydia A., Ed.D. - Dr. Begley
is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction in the
Wantagh School District. Dr. Begley is a respected member of the
Long Island Educational community, teaching for BOCES, Roosevelt
School District and the New York State Middle School Association.
Bitting, Robert
Cerio, John, Ph.D. - Dr. Cerio is
a professor of school psychology at Alfred University and director
of the University’s Child and Family Services Center, a full
service child guidance clinic. A licensed psychologist, certified
school psychologist, and certified school counselor, Jay has over
30 years of experience working in school and clinical settings.
Celentano, Joe - Mr. Celentano is
a certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor and has operated his
own practice for 20 years. In addition, Joe has worked for several
different counseling centers throughout his career.
Coyle, Effie - Ms. Coyle has worked
as a guidance counselor in New York City for over 20 years. In addition,
Effie has worked at the district level as the Guidance Coordinator
for District 22 in Brooklyn.
Darkeh, Ama - Ms. Darkeh currently
serves as a guidance counselor at Long Beach Middle School. In addition,
she is a certified Mental Health Counselor and HIV/AIDS Counselor.
Feinberg, Teuta, Ph.D. - Dr. Feinberg
is a Licensed Psychologist who has a private practice and also works
as an Adjunct Professor for the College of Saint Rose and LaGuardia
College. Dr. Feinberg has had a distinguished career as a School
Psychologist with the New York City Department of Education and
as a Personnel Director for a private company.
Fields, Eric - Mr. Fields is a School
Psychologist with Smithtown Central School District and is currently
pursuing his Doctorate with St. John’s University.
Findling, Shoshanah, Ph.D. - Dr.
Findling is an experienced guidance counselor, professor and program
developer. She specializes in career counseling and has worked with
adolescents and adults at community training centers.
Green, Andrea - Ms. Green is a certified
Guidance Counselor and Social Worker. She currently serves as the
Assistant Principal in charge of Pupil Personnel Services at Beach
Channel High School. In the past, she has served as the Regional
Social Worker/Counselor for Region 5.
Grossman, Stuart, Ed.D. - Mr. Grossman
is currently the District Director of Special Education/Special
Services. He has a Master’s in School Counseling and a Doctorate
in Educational Administration. He has worked in New York City and
Long Island Schools in a number of building level positions including
School Counselor, Assistant Principal, Summer School Principal and
Chairman of PPS and Special Education.
Heim, Maria, Ph.D. - Dr. Heim is
a School Psychologist for Nassau BOCES. She is a member of the American
Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association
and the National Association of School Psychologists. Previous professional
experience includes School Psychologist for the Department of Education
in New York City and Consultant in Early Childhood Education for
the Les Clochette School.
Knox, Tulsa, Psy.D. - Dr. Knox is
a School Psychologist with the Department of Education. She also
worked at the district level and has worked in an education capacity
at a Mental Hospital.
Schlegal, Jean, Ph.D. - Dr. Schlegal
is a certified school and clinical psychologist. She has served
as school psychologist for several Long Island School Districts
and performs evaluations for pre school students.
Straussner, Joel H, Ph.D. - Dr. Straussner
works as a Supervisor of Psychological Services for District 30
in New York City. He has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Touro
College and the College of Saint Rose.
